A band that started with a middle-school promotion performance and did not stop — thirty-odd original songs, a thirteen-track debut album called The Cyclist, and a lot of night markets in between.
The band
Post-Credits is the thing that has run longest and changed least. I co-founded it, play drums, write, and co-produce.
Writing together
Post-Credits songs usually do not arrive fully formed. Someone brings in a lyric, a chord progression, a melody, a beat, or sometimes only a mood, and we keep changing it until everyone can hear the same song.
As drummer and co-producer, I tend to think about structure and momentum: when the track should open up, when it should pull back, where a fill helps, and where doing less makes the chorus hit harder.
Behind the drums
My role does not stop when the drum take is finished. I also help shape arrangements, compare takes, think about transitions and pacing, and work with the rest of the band on how a song should feel as a recording rather than only as a live performance.
Production became another form of percussion for me: controlling energy, timing, density, and space, just on a larger scale.
The numbers, briefly
Around 29,000 followers, two million likes, ten million views. Useful context, not the point. The point is thirty-plus songs that did not exist before, and one album called The Cyclist.

The Performance That Started It: South Point Middle School
Playing the eighth-grade promotion at South Point Middle School — the band's first performance. Kaitlyn Shuffer, Miles Nguyen, Austin To and Jalen Cai, with a set that included "You'll Be Back" from Hamilton, "Eye of the Tiger" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".
